Barbados delight

There’s a small island in the Atlantic, in the area that is commonly referred to as the Lesser Antilles, called Barbados. And it’s heavenly. Barbados holidays aren’t very well ranked around the World, as people seem to prefer to go to other travel destinations. But, trust me, it’s way up there with the rest of the dream holiday sites when it comes to quality of facilities and beauty.

Tourism wasn’t what Barbados was always known for. The island was first colonized by the Portuguese, who soon lost interest in it and focused their attentions on Brazil. The Spanish came after that, as did the Dutch. But it was the British who settled permanently in the island, and that ends up working in our favor, as English is now the official language in the island.

Nowadays the island invested heavily on tourism and it paid off. There are simply amazing conditions to spend days of heavenly holiday in Barbados. Naturally, you will be mostly attracted by the beaches and the weather, and they are top notch, but it’s the surrounding atmosphere that will make the difference between Barbados and other holiday destinations. And, also, the people and the culture are absolutely amazing
